Does Milwaukee really have a ballet? Why yes we do! It may seem odd that a city that isn't looked at as being very big could have a ballet, but we do! Established in 1978, the ballet aims to educate the community and inspire creativity. Popular ballet shows such as the Nutcracker play every year. The Milwaukee Art Museum is a large attraction to the Milwaukee area. Located in Milwaukee Wisconsin this architecture from 2001 brings people to the area. The Art Museum consists of wings that open and close during the hours of operation. The wings take about 3.5 seconds to open and close. Children under 12 always get in free! Not only does the Art Museum draw people in due to the architecture, it also overlooks Lake Michigan, and the museum holds more than 30,000 pieces of art!
